Cornerstone OnDemand Wins 2010 Chief Learning Officer Learning in Practice Award
Company named Gold Award winner in the “Excellence in Social Learning” category for its enterprise social networking platform, Cornerstone Connect
Santa Monica, Calif. – September 28, 2010 – Cornerstone OnDemand, a leading global provider of a comprehensive learning and talent management solution, today announced that it is the winner of a 2010 Chief Learning Officer Learning in Practice Gold Award in the “Excellence in Social Learning” category. The category recognizes providers that have rolled out social learning initiatives, including wikis, blogs, communities of practice, social networks, and/or any other employee communication and collaboration platforms, for a client in the past year. Clare Marsch, Vice President of Learning Development for American Bankers Association (ABA), also was the winner of a Silver Award in the “Business Impact” category, which recognizes learning executives who have demonstrated measurable business impact of their workforce development programs in the past year. The ABA uses Cornerstone’s learning management platform to support its learning, development and compliance initiatives.
Sponsored by Chief Learning Officer magazine, the awards were officially announced today during a presentation ceremony at the Fall 2010 Chief Learning Officer Symposium, held at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel. Cornerstone was among more than 50 Gold, Silver and Bronze Award recipients honored by the magazine as industry leaders who have demonstrated excellence in the design and delivery of workforce learning and development programs.
This is the second award Cornerstone has received for its enterprise social networking platform in the past year. In April, the company won a 2010 Bersin & Associates Learning Leaders Award in the “Vendor Innovation in Learning and Talent Management” category for Cornerstone Connect.
