Cornerstone OnDemand and State of Nebraska to Present at the HR Technology Conference & Expo

Cornerstone also will highlight its new Observation Checklist feature set, as well as showcase several premier clients in its booth, during the two-day expo event

Santa Monica, Calif.  September 28, 2010 – Cornerstone OnDemand (booth no. 334), a leading global provider of a comprehensive learning and talent management solution, and its client, State of Nebraska, are presenting at this week’s HR Technology Conference & Expo, the company announced today. The session, “State of Nebraska Takes the Trail to Talent Management,” is scheduled for Wednesday, September 29 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. at Chicago’s McCormick Place, room N231.

During the two-day expo, scheduled for September 29-30, Cornerstone also will conduct live, interactive demos in its booth to showcase the company’s integrated software platforms as well as new features such as Observation Checklist, which enables organizations to assess and record an employee’s skills and competencies while directly observing specific activities in the field.

Additionally, Cornerstone clients such as Dot Foods, Feeding America and State of Nebraska, among others, will be on hand in the booth to talk one-on-one with expo attendees regarding their learning and talent management strategies and collaborations with Cornerstone to support their initiatives.

“An integrated talent management system gives us unparalleled visibility into our workforce, which will help us to make more informed decisions about training and leadership development. And because Cornerstone’s solution is SaaS-based, we’re able to avoid the added costs of purchasing hardware, IT and version upgrades,” said Cindy DeCoster, L & D Coordinator for the State of Nebraska

During their conference session with Cornerstone, DeCoster and Dovi Mueller, a HR Administrator and Project Lead for the State of Nebraska, will share insight into the State’s decision to take an integrated approach to engaging, managing and developing its 20,000 public employees spanning 80 state-wide agencies. This includes implementing a technology solution – including platforms for learning management, performance management, succession planning and enterprise social networking – to support the State’s learning and talent management strategy.

Attendees of the “State of Nebraska Takes the Trail to Talent Management” session will:

  • Learn how the State is leveraging best practices from both the public and private sectors to shape its learning and talent management strategy.

  • Gain insight into the State’s search for the right technology partner – and why they chose to invest in a comprehensive, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution.

  • Hear about the State’s technology implementation, change management and results measurement processes.

  • Get an overview of the State team’s key lessons learned for executing a successful talent strategy and utilizing technology to support learning and HR initiatives.
