EMEA Solution Consultant
Location – UK/ Germany/ Netherlands/ Sweden/ Denmark
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a highly-skilled solution consultant (solutions architect) to represent Cornerstone OnDemand. This position will be based in London/ Germany/ Netherlands/ Nordics and will report to the Director of Solution Consulting, EMEA. Success in this role may provide a host of additional opportunities for growth such as swift career progression and significant financial upside.
Responsibilities
- Clearly demonstrate complex applications to diverse audiences, both in person and virtually
- Have a solid understanding of enterprise software and the benefits of the on-demand SaaS model, and of the integrated learning and talent management processes and best practices.
- Gather business and technical requirements and customize/develop presentations and demonstrations to highlight how and why Cornerstone’s solution would suit the customer better than the competitor’s products or homegrown development
- Build customer relations through sales and follow-up calls and product presentations/ demonstrations
- Act as the primary technical interface on customer sales calls
- Assist sales managers in identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing sales opportunities
- Develop and leverage knowledge of industry trends and specific customer current/future architecture in order to position the Cornerstone solution, acting as a trusted advisor
- Actively keep abreast of functional and technical issues relative to the solution and industry and provide feedback to R&D and Product Management
- Interface and coordinate efforts with team members from our consulting team to demonstrate and develop/configure project plans and proposals. (e.g. RFI & RFP)
- A significant amount of travel across EMEA will be expected.
Experience / Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years software solutions pre/technical sales experience, successfully supporting sales of high level corporate software/technology solutions at the executive level
- Experience selling HR-related software is a very strong advantage
- Track record of exceeding company sales quotas
- Aggressive, hard-working, persuasive, persistent, self-motivated, and productive
- Have the ability to multitask and have strong time management skills
- Able to work with teams and coordinate activities involving several participants
- Must be a self-starter who assumes responsibility, recognizes problems, provides well though-out solutions and takes initiatives to fix them
- Must have excellent communication skills and analytical skills and be comfortable in representing software and speaking to operational and technical executives alike.
- Demonstrated success in building customer relationships
- Experience with software automation tools and Microsoft Office
- English language skills are mandatory as well as fluency in German/ Dutch/ Swedish/ Danish (Additional European languages are an advantage)
Benefits Package
The compensation package for this role includes a base salary, commission, stock plan, and an additional local benefits package.
